Thanksgiving Break

Thanksgiving brought lots of family to our house.  Bella got to show off her viola skills and play ball with Uncle Nathan, Daddy, and sisters.

Decorating the house for Christmas – love this sweet girl!

I love this last picture of Bella.  It looks so much like our friend Zoe.  Love it!

So proud of her – she is usually too terrified to sit on the piano bench, but she did it!

Waiting for the bus in the morning, we made this video.

I sent cupcakes to school.  I wasn’t allowed to come up, but her teacher promised to send pictures!

Cake!  She blew out her candle all by herself  - but we didn’t capture it on video – so sad!

Away from the hustle and bustle of everyone, she gave me her smile

Grannie Annie, Bella’s biological paternal Grandmother, sent Bella a pop-up book!  So fun!

How we love you dear Bella!  I just can’t believe that you are six.  I keep thinking of the poem Now We Are Six.  I just feel like it’s such an accomplishment!  You are here and doing so very well.  I am amazed by you every day!  I love you sweet girl, all 26 pounds of you!

"NOW WE ARE SIX"

When I was one,
I had just begun.
When I was two,
I was nearly new.
When I was three,
I was hardly me.
When I was four,
I was not much more.
When I was five,
I was just alive.
But now I am six,
I'm as clever as clever.
So I think I'll be six
now and forever.
