This week Bella has been on the mend. It took all week, but she is back to normal – yeah! She was even able to do three HME trials yesterday. I love it when she is off the vent, but we have to suction so often. Oh well. The bad news this week was that I had to change her trach twice due to mucus plugs – that is too much! After talking to the doctor, she started mucamist – I love that drug! After xopenex and mucuamist, her stats have been terrific!
Jason has been playing around with the camera to learn more and his favorite subject is Bella. Enjoy the pictures!

Its so funny to look at her baby pic on the side and look at her now! Amazing. Love my Bella girl!
You are an amazing little one Bella!
Hey Shelly, good question about school. right now he is home and hospital because he can't be around other children. You know that I don't hold him in the house because I'm paranoid, but school I am nervous about. But its an easy decision for him because cognitively he doesn't need school. He is not going to learn colors, and how to be around children, he just doesn't understand that. He needs PT and Ot, which he gets already privately, so thats all I'm worried about. I'm trying to not worry about it to much because hopefully before he goes to school we will be in California and I can see what they offer. It would be different if he understood things. I have a friend thats son is 5 and she's so paranoid that she doesn't take that kid anywhere, only to doctors appointments. Sad, because I know he would love other children!
Ok, now i'm rambling!
