Little Bella has captured the hearts of our family and everyone that meets her. We want to share her story with all.

Bella’s Week

DSC01046

We went to see GI.  She has a plan to hopefully get Bella regular.  Bella is now old enough that part of the problem she is having in that department is Bella – she is holding because she thinks it’s going to hurt, so we are going to teach her that there is no pain with stooling.  It’s a messy process over here, but the results will be worth it.

Love the attitude – can’t you hear it? “Do we really have to discuss that here Mother?”

I am also excited because we are trying to eat more by mouth.  She can and will eat by mouth, but after a few bites, she’s done.  So we have to work on that!  My goal is to have a totally tubeless little girl – we can do this Bell!  (I think my goals have gotten pretty high.  Who would have ever thought?  :))

Loved this progression:

Playing on the computer together and finally a hug

Loving on her little brother (with her mini backpack – love it!)  Sensory, sensory, thy name is Bella.  All three littles doing OT together, but Bella was not going to put her feet in there for anything!   Practicing taking steps with PT.

Oh – three times she has touched her neck and then signed “gone.”  She knows she is free from her trach.
