We went to visit our GI doctor. We have been having too many hard, distended tummies (and having a BM is a screaming affair) so we were hoping for some answers. We got orders for a bunch of tests. My poor baby – I hate that she knows what is coming. I hate how she locks her wheels. I hate that it takes so many grown adults to get blood. I hate that she is terrified of x-rays. Pretty much hate hospitals. But still we are hoping for some answers.
After that trauma, we needed some fun:
Making owls from pine cones in Speech
Working hard on feeding (one day….)
OK, this just made me mad – how many clinics, doctors and nurses have been through her chart? Oh, about a million. And who notices that Bella is missing a Hep B vaccine? The school nurse. Really? And yes, if you don’t get vaccinated by Monday, she can’t come to school. (sorry but, really? her unprotected status from Heb B is going to become a problem on Monday, but not today or last Thursday? No, I didn’t say any of that out loud, but yes, I obviously thought it) So we had to go back to the doctor and get a shot. And after Monday’s trauma that just wasn’t nice!
At the park for PT because it was so nice outside!
At the DARS Fall Festival. Bella is funny – if she gets bored, she just takes off. Love that she has that ability with her chair. Looking so intently at the ducks
She got a beautiful lunch and ate – the pickle! I’ll take it!
Meeting the animals and riding a pony!
Watching the ipad on the stairs like Joy does. Watching TV in a boat with Joy.
Playing with the parachute in nursery at church.
