Saturday update

Miss Bella has had an extraordinary week of improvements.

Daddy day (usually Saturday like today), are historically good days.

While not terrible today, Bella has not felt as well.  She had some gas build up in her stomach today and has spit up several times.  (this is when I wish she had the complete fundo.)

She also spiked a fever today and had some greenish mucus when we did a Bag and Suction.  They are doing blood and urine cultures seeing if she has any other infections going on.

She does seem happier this afternoon but she definitely does not feel as good as she has the rest of the week.  I do feel that the good progress she has made has helped her to be stronger to fight the bad days.

There has been no changes to the Nitric (1.4) or the FIO2 settings (%40) since I got here this morning.  I am happy those have not had to be turned up.  She is doing fairly well considering.

Get through this one quickly Bella Bug so we can stay on schedule!

I am certain you have had the "talk" with her.You know, the one that goes:"Behave yourself little one.No surprises.Focus forward.Slow and steady and the keep your eye on the prize:home".Have a sit down with the little love, won't you and set her straight, then give her a kiss from her California admirers.

So sorry you had a bit of a rough day, but so thankful there were so many 'ups' this week! I love the photo of her looking at you holding her in the chair. She certainly knows you, you can see the love in her eyes. Let's pray for another really GOOD week!
